Metal One Specialty Steel Corporation and Metal One Steel Products Corporation Merge

This is to provide notice that Metal One Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Yoshiyuki Watanabe, CEO) will be launching a new company through the merger of Metal One Specialty Steel Corporation (headquartered in Osaka, Koji Okuyama, president) and Metal One Steel Products Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Atsushi Ichikawa, president) on April 1, 2026.

Merger Aims
Business conditions in the wire and specialty steel market have been changing rapidly, and competition is projected to become increasingly tough. By integrating companies that have both developed specialized products and services and sales networks, this merger is meant to build even more robust business foundations. The new company will demonstrate distribution and processing capabilities that cover every aspect from upstream to downstream, based on demand for parts.

The new company will make optimal use of management resources that its predecessors have cultivated, and strengthen its capabilities and specializations to build systems that respond effectively to requests from market participants.
