Metal One Has Roots in Two Trading Companies

Metal One was created in January 2003 through the merger of the steel products divisions of Mitsubishi Corporation
and Nissho Iwai Corporation (today’s Sojitz Corporation).
Utilizing the abundant information and capabilities of its two trading company shareholders,
Metal One has been honing its specialized expertise as an integrated steel trading company.
Additionally,
it collaborates with Group affiliates in Japan
and elsewhere to create new value as a leading company in steel distribution,
spreading its reach worldwide.
