Construction of Metal One Service Asia (Wuhan, China) Co., Ltd. (MOSAC Wuhan)'s first factory in inland China has begun, following automotive sector service centers Metal One Service Asia (Foshan, China) Co., Ltd. and Metal One Service Asia (Guangzhou, China) Co., Ltd. The new factory is being built to meet the needs of Nissan Motor, Honda and Renault, which have all established facilities in inland China in the Wuhan area. Equipped with processing equipment that includes slitters and levelers, the new steel service center is scheduled to begin operations in March 2016.

"We decided to launch the new business in the inland region, taking advantage of the knowhow and clientele MOSAC Foshan and Guangzhou have built up," states MOSAC Wuhan Chairman and Managing Director Yoshitaka Uriu."I would like to make the Wuhan factory a new foothold for developing new customers."

The MOSAC works in Foshan and Guangzhou process steel sheets for Japanese and Western automakers running their production bases in the Huanan region, and together handle some 300,000 tonnes of steel a year.
