Metal One Singapore Pte. Ltd.
The Multiethnic State of Singapore
Metal One Singapore Pte. Ltd. has eighteen employees, and deals in steel pipes for the energy industry, plates and shapes for maritime structures, plates for storage tanks and shipbuilding, reinforcing bars and shapes for the construction industry, stainless steel materials and coated steel sheets.
Singapore is a multiethnic, multicultural country whose people are about 74 percent Chinese, about 13 percent Malay and about 9 percent Indian by descent. There are four official languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay and Tamil.

High Prices and a Hard-Working Populace
Because Singapore is not particularly large, it established a vehicle quota system in 1990 to control the rate of auto ownership as a way to ease traffic congestion. Import taxes and vehicle registration fees cost about as much as the vehicle itself. Even so, the presence of many high-end cars like Lamborghinis and Ferraris on the streets gives one a sense of the country’s affluence.
Singapore is slightly larger in size than Tokyo’s twenty-three wards, and lacks natural resources. For this reason, the country pours a great deal of effort into human resource development, and scores among the highest in Asia on international academic tests. That leads to some tough scholastic competition, and a student’s test results when graduating from elementary school can seriously affect his or her chances of attending a domestic university. Many students can be found studying in local cafes on both weekdays and weekends.

Singapore is a multiethnic state. Deepavali, the Hindu celebration of the New Year, is also a prominent event.
The Famous Chili Crab
Chili crab is a recommended dish among Singaporean cuisine’s many offerings. This is a traditional dish featuring crab simmered in a sauce of chili, tomato and beaten eggs. In addition to the delicious crabmeat, fried bread dipped in the remaining sauce is also mouthwatering.

The Problems Prosperity Brings
Singapore enjoys a high level of safety, healthcare, transportation and food safety. Our employees posted here often end up putting on weight because of the richness of the food and drink before they return home, making Singapore a kind of “challenging” appointment.
