We would like to express our deepest condolences with regard to those who have lost their lives due to the Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake as well as heartfelt sympathies to the many people who have suffered from this disaster.

Metal One has decided to offer support in the form of a ¥10 million relief fund to try to assist those who suffered from the earthquake and also the reconstruction of the stricken region. We sincerely hope that the stricken areas will be able to recover as soon as possible and will do our utmost to help out.

Regarding the repercussions of this earthquake, we were able to confirm that our Tohoku Branch’s employees are safe but intend to suspend operations today. We will devote every effort to resume operations and will post updates on our Web site.
