Metal One Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Moriji Kanada) launched Metal One (Guang Zhou) Commerce Co., Ltd., in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China on September 1, 2006, and owns 100% of the company's seven million dollar capitalization.
The new subsidiary, in this strategically vital southern Chinese region, will aim for operational expansion with domestic sales, import and export capabilities central to Metal One's Value Chain Strategies. Metal One has offices in Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Xiamen, but this is the first time the company has established a subsidiary authorized to conduct commercial activities in China. Consideration is underway of possible future expansion to other locations.
The target from now is to further promote Value Chain Strategies by demonstrating the new subsidiary's capabilities, striving to expand into new operations and building a business model.
