Metal One Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a coil center established by Metal One in Suzhou, located in China's Huadong District, began test runs of two slitter lines on March 15. A mass-production trial will begin in April and full operations are scheduled to start in May, with a monthly production capacity of 600 tonnes per shift.

The Suzhou coil center is part of the stainless steel processing and sales network Metal One has set up in Asia to respond to all the needs of our customers.

Occupying 4,133m² of floor space on the 13,244m² site, the plant will process thin stainless steel sheet in widths from 50 microns to 2mm, using 350mm- and 650mm-wide slitters.

Preparations are currently proceeding according to plan in anticipation of the start of full operations in May. An inaugural celebration has been scheduled for June.
