Metal One Corporation's "Mid-Term Consolidated Management Plan" was released to the public on April 16. Speaking before 25 reporters from major newspapers, economic journals, industry bulletins and news agencies in the Large Conference Room on the 9th floor of Metal One's head office, President and COO Mizutani explained the contents and purpose of the plan, at a press conference which was also attended by Chairman and CEO Okada, and Executive Officers Nagai and Ono.

During the question and answer period following the presentation, reporters asked various questions. The following day, articles related to the plan appeared in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun and other papers.
